What should I wear? Is there a suggested dress code?

Answer

We suggest wearing something comfortable and easy to move in! Our ceremony (weather permitting) will be in an outdoor forest setting and the reception will be in an old, remodeled barn! We do not suggest wearing high heels, but we DO suggest getting on the dance floor! While the average weather for early May in the Red River Gorge area is typically beautiful and in the mid 70’s, anything is possible. You may want to bring a sweater or light jacket.

Did you guys move?

Answer

Yes! Twice! Funny how life keeps us on our toes. We moved to Louisville at the end of December 2019 but by May 2020, we both accepted new jobs in the Lexington area, which was our ultimate goal anyway! Our new mailing address is: 210 Southwind Drive Winchester, KY 40391

Are you going on a honeymoon?

Answer

The short answer is...not right now. Our (my) dream honeymoon of an Alaskan cruise has now been cancelled twice due Covid. This time, we've opted to take the full refund and apply it towards our savings for a house. Alaska isn't going anywhere; we hope to make it there some day, but for now, our focus & our goal is a home of our own!
