Transportation Services

We would love for you to relax and have fun at our wedding! Please have a few drinks with us! 🥂 We are finalizing the details of transportation to and from the venue, but here is what will likely happen: Between 2:30 and 3:00, a motorcoach will pick guests up from the parking lot of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, located at 2211 Elkhorn Dr, Lexington 40505. This motorcoach is too large to make it all the way up the mountain, but we have arranged for an exchange of vehicles to occur just minutes away from the venue. You will exit the shuttle bus and enter a smaller shuttle, which will take you up to the ceremony site. After the reception is over, the reverse will happen. Shuttles will take you back to the bus and the motorcoach will get you back to your Lexington hotel safely!

3 Months & Counting!

February 1, 2021

We cannot believe that it has been 10 months since we postponed! We have just a few months left until the big day and we want you to know that there is no plan of postponing again. At this point, we are ready to make things “official” and really start building our lives together. We will make every effort to ensure our wedding as safe and fun as possible for everyone in attendance. Masks will be available. The ceremony (weather permitting) will be outdoors. The reception barn has outdoor areas, as well. Hand sanitizer will be readily available around the facility. We want everyone to have an enjoyable time and feel comfortable. That being said, if you are not ready to venture out to an event, thats okay! We asolutely understand and want you to do what you feel is best for you! Be on the look out for a reminder invite and a second RSVP in the upcoming weeks!

An Unfortunate Update

March 30, 2020

Amidst the global Corona Virus pandemic, we were initially holding out hope to keep our May 23, 2020 date. However, if you noticed the header, you saw the wedding has been postponed until next year, Saturday, May 01, 2021. We are so sorry to change the date so close to our original plan, but this is well out of our control. We have been listening to the daily updates from our governor and president and have been staying informed as this pandemic progresses. Believe us, no one is more disappointed than we are. This decision was made out of love, in an effort to keep our family, friends and vendors healthy. It is simply do the right thing to do. We hope you realize how difficult this decision was and we hope you can understand where we are coming from. Most of all, despite the delay, we hope you can join us May 01, 2021! Please bear with us as we try to get everything and everyone updated. We will send out new information as we get it together and will ask for you to RSVP again for the new date. We love you all. Thank you for your love, support, patience and understanding in this time of transition. —Daniel and Alli—

The Proposal

March 31, 2019

Did I know it was coming? -Eventually! We talked about the future. We talked about the logistics. We talked about a life together... Was I surprised? -Definitely! We never even went looking for rings...not even window shopping. I knew it was coming, but I just didn’t know how or when... How did it happen? -Our song is “Mirrors” by Justin Timberlake. (Watch the music video here: https://youtu.be/uuZE_IRwLNI ) We both wanted to see him in concert, and we worked it out to go with our friends, Dustin and Amber. Apparently they were in on the whole thing, as was everyone else in the world but me. (Kudos to all of you who kept it a secret!). About 2/3 of the way through the show, the intro to “Mirrors” started playing. I got excited and Daniel leaned over and said, “I bet this is going to be your favorite part of the show!” I responded, “yeah, probably!” thinking he meant because of the song. Instead, he non-chalantly grabbed my hand and casually slid the ring on my finger. It took me a second to realize what was happening before I looked down and yelled the first thing that came to mind... “are you kidding me?!” Neither one of us really remember if he actually officially asked or if I ever actually said yes, but some things can just go unsaid. 💍
