While we aren't requiring it, we are STRONGLY suggesting all guests get tested for COVID-19 1 week before attending our wedding, with the intention of having your results back before September 26. It's super quick, easy, and in most cases, it's free. Help us protect our family, friends, and the town of Basalt by being responsible and getting tested for COVID-19.
Casual! Think: sundresses, jumpsuits, rompers, sandals, or khakis, button-up shirts, etc. Please wear sensible shoes as the ceremony site involves a short walk up a trail by the river (accommodations can be made to drop off at the site for our friends who can't make the walk). Bring a warm layer and a waterproof layer. Oh, and Dad- please hold off on the crocs until the reception. Love, Hannah.
Basalt is about 200 miles from Denver International Airport, or a 3.5 hour drive (50 minute flights from Denver to Aspen are also available). It's located between Aspen and Glenwood Springs, about 20 miles (or a 30 minute drive) from each.
This is Colorado in the mountains, so be prepared for anything. The average high for this time of year is around 66°F, and the low is around 36°F. Bring a warm jacket and a waterproof layer just in case. Hopefully we'll get to see some leaves changing, too!
