FAQs

The Wedding Website of Dana Buesseler and Shelby Huber
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by September 17th, at least a month before the wedding. Thank you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is shared between St. Mary's Cathedral and The Regency Venue. If you park in st. Mary's lot before the ceremony, you are able to leave your car there the whole time you are at the Reception. Here's a breakdown of the parking options: ● Rear Regency Lot: This lot is free on Saturdays and Sundays and open for parking after 5 PM on weekdays. ● Downtown Parking Ramps: These ramps offer complimentary parking after 5 PM. ● Paramount Parking Ramp: This is the nearest parking ramp and is free after 5 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. ● Swan Lot: Another lot across the street from St. Mary's Cathedral, offering free parking after 5 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. ● Cloverleaf Lot: Located south of Falcon National Bank, it is free after 5 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. ● Metered Street Parking: Enforced 24/7, but the Park Mobile App offers a one-hour free benefit.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style, so you should be able to skip whatever food may be an issue. However, if you require Vegetarian/Vegan options we ask that you reach out to one of us before September 1st so we can make sure to accommodate for you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all of the young ones in our lives but we ask that you use this evening as a date night unless otherwise stated on your invitation. Make sure to give them an extra hug from us!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope you wear cocktail style attire. This way you can be comfortable and most likely already have something that you want to wear. Our Ceremony is in a Cathedral, so please dress respectfully for the mass.

Question

What do I do during the Communion part of the mass if I am not Catholic?

Answer

We understand that not all of our family and friends will be familiar with the mass but we thank you for celebrating with us! We ask that you be a part of our day by still coming forward to the altar during Communion but the guidance from the church is to cross your arms over your chest and bow your head for a blessing when you get to the front. The Priest will give some guidance during the mass to those who may not be familiar with the action. :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before the mass so you are able to find parking, visit with friends and family before the Ceremony starts, and find a seat.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a registry through Zola which can be found at the registry menu at the top of the page. If you wish to give cash instead of purchasing something on the registry, that is appreciated as well! There should be a cash fund in the registry you can donate to.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, this is something we could not organize. However, there are three hotels within a 10 minute walk of the ceremony and reception! There is a room block with Courtyard St. Cloud but the hotel is filling up fast. More information will be in the "Travel" section at the top of this page.

Question

Should I bring my gift to the reception?

Answer

We ask that if you have a large gift you please ship it to Dana and Shelby's home in Albuquerque, NM. We have limited space in our car when we drive back after the celebration.
