Lori and Joe live in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Joe works as a software development manager while Lori is enjoying retired life. Lori and Joe are excited to celebrate the couple with all of their friends and family!

Ravid is Shay's one and only sister and one of her best friends. She is in her third year of law school at Penn (where Shay also went to law school) and will be moving to New York to work as an associate at a big law firm.

Tiffany Phon

Tiffany and Shay met on UCLA's move-in day when they were paired as roommates in the dorms. They quickly became best friends and lived together during all four years of college, plus one summer after freshman year. Although they had different career paths (Tiffany is now a doctor in San Francisco), Shay convinced her to join UCLA Mock Trial and get a job with her at the Student Union. No matter where in the country they were, Tiffany and Shay stayed close and plan to keep it that way!

Kadie and Shay met in 8th grade at Pine Valley Middle School. They were both taking an advanced math course at the local high school during first period, and walked together from the high school to the middle school every morning. Kadie and Shay remained good friends in high school and stayed in touch through college and after. Shay was recently a bridesmaid in Kadie's wedding and Kadie is returning the favor!

Shay met Alex in her high school mock trial class, when Shay was a sophomore and Alex joined the class as a freshman. A few years later, after Alex started at UCLA, Shay and Alex met for dinner and Shay convinced her to join the pre-law fraternity. Shay picked up Alex as her little in Princess Line, and the two have been close ever since. Alex shares Shay's love for cold Kit-Kats, popcorn, and old school romantic comedies.

Katy and Shay met at a law summer camp in high school. Even though they lived in neighboring towns, they met for the first time at UCLA, where the camp took place. Little did they know they would both attend UCLA as students. A few years later, Shay ran into Katy on campus and Katy told her about the pre-law fraternity she had joined. Shay soon joined also and they became good friends. A year older, Katy has always been a great mentor for Shay and helped her navigate everything from applying to law school to preparing for on-campus interviews. Katy is now clerking for a judge in New York and plans to move back to California soon!

Dvir is Shay's one and only younger brother. He currently lives in Boston and is getting his PhD in molecular biology at Harvard University!

Pepper

Dog of Honor

After moving to L.A. and experiencing the first year of the pandemic, Shay and Dan decided that Whiskey could use a little buddy to keep him company when his parents returned to work. Shay and Dan rescued Pepper in November 2020 when she was just a tiny pup. Whiskey was hesitant at first, but now loves his sister. Pepper’s favorite pastimes include chasing squirrels, sitting for treats, cuddling, and slapping her brother in the face. Pepper will be walking down the aisle as Dog of Honor!

Shay and Dan picked up Whiskey near Philadelphia during her third year of law school. Even though he was technically Shay's dog at first, Dan was and continues to be the best dog dad to Whiskey. He even proposed to Whiskey after he proposed to Shay! Whiskey’s favorite pastimes are hiding in the closet or under the couch, sitting in piles of warm, clean laundry, playing with his bouncy blue ball, and eating shrimp and lettuce. Whiskey is Shay and Dan's first baby so he's rightfully earned his place as Best Dog!
