We are not registered anywhere and would like to ask our guests to refrain from gift giving. Having each of you attend our wedding and celebrate with us is the best gift we could receive.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate kids during our ceremony and reception. We hope you understand and apologize for the inconvenience it may cause to some of our guests.
The dress code is semi-formal. The ceremony will take place outside on grass (weather dependent) so please plan footwear accordingly. Cocktails and hors d'Oeuvres will be served immediately following the ceremony outside on the deck. Since Vermont can be chilly at night, the deck does have heaters and they will be turned on if needed. The reception will take place indoors, with the deck staying open to guests if they choose to step outside at any time during the night.
If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can advise the venue.
The ceremony will start at 5pm so please plan on arriving a few minutes early to get seated and settle in before the ceremony begins. Please be aware that our ceremony will be unplugged. We ask that you keep your eyes up, phones down and hearts open during the short ceremony and enjoy the moment with us.
Yes, if you are staying off property and arriving for the wedding, the Kimpton Taconic offers self-parking options onsite and across the street.
There is no arranged transportation to or from the wedding venue as most of the hotels in the area are within a five-minute drive. With that said we do not want anyone to put themselves or others at risk so if you feel you are unable to safely make it back to your hotel, please let someone know and we will make arrangements to get you transported back to your hotel.
