This upscale gem of a town is just 30 minutes south of Hopland. Full of great restaurants, tasting rooms, window shopping and a perfect town square, you'll find plenty to do (and buy). Here are some of our (and our families') favorite places: Food: -SHED (https://healdsburgshed.com/): cafe/ restaurant/ home store/ market. So much curation, so much deliciousness. - Barn Diva (http://www.barndiva.com/): serving lunch and dinner, this has been a special place for Morgan, her Mom and Grandmother (Mamang) for many years. Excellent food, fun bar and a great backyard space. - Banshee Wine Tasting Room (http://www.bansheewines.com/visit/): Maggie and Nick introduced Morgan to this comfortable tasting room just off the square. - Spoonbar - Oakville Grovery - Costeaux French Bakery - Dry Creek Kitchen Shops: - One World Fair Trade - The Gardener - Levin and Company Bookstore - Fideaux Let's Get Active: Bike Rentals (http://www.winecountrybikes.com/)
Lucky for you- most wineries in the Hopland area will be open Saturday and Sunday for an area-wide tasting event. Because of wedding events on Saturday, we recommend enjoying all that this up-and-coming region has to offer by getting a one-day pass for Sunday.
The Russian River Valley is a great place to be for pinot noir, chardonnay and zinfandel varietals amongst others. Here are a few of the wineries we've enjoyed: Healdsburg: Bella Vineyards and Wine Caves (http://www.bellawinery.com/): Picnic area + tasting cave Arista Winery (http://www.aristawinery.com): Appointment only tasting MacRostie Winery (http://macrostiewinery.com/): Modern tasting room with beautiful views Truett Hurst (http://www.truetthurst.com/): Picnic area near the river + cheap tastings
Check out this small town for some yummy treats! Diavola Restaurant & Pizzeria (https://www.diavolapizzeria.com/) wood fired pizza, house cured meats, wine
Minigolf, arcade (including Morgan's favorite game- Area 51), batting cages, bumper boats and more. The only thing that makes this place better is that it's just a few doors down from In-N-Out Burger.
