Seattle-Tacoma International Airport - SEATAC (SEA) For our out-of-state travelers, this is the airport you should plan to fly into.

Driving Around

For our out-of-state travelers, we highly recommend renting a vehicle for the long weekend OR finding a contact to carpool with. Rental car companies can be found around the SEATAC airport. In order to reach rural Longbranch for the wedding day activities and events, a vehicle is required, in which it takes roughly 45 mins to 1 hour from Tacoma. Additionally, the Tacoma-centric events are best reached by vehicle. For those uninterested in renting a car to get to and from SEATAC airport, Uber & Lyft are available, although a taxi is a cheaper option. Consider that prices will vary due to the holiday weekend.

Lodging Considerations

Since it is a holiday weekend for the 4th of July, booking sooner than later is recommended! Feel free to explore lodging options that are right for you. We have provided some suggestions for lodging below, but by all means, if you find lodging near any of those suggestions, you will be in a great location near the action. ;)

A hotel suggestion. For reference, the Murano hotel is a 45 min to 1 hr drive to the wedding reception venue, and nestled in downtown Tacoma where you can explore several museums, a cute artsy downtown, and explore many parks along the waterfront.

The INN at Gig Harbor

A hotel suggestion. The INN is roughly 30 to 45 mins to the wedding reception venue, in which it is located in Gig Harbor with nearby access to Highway 16, along with a diverse array of high-end stores, amenities, and the walk-able harbor in Gig Harbor.

Airbnb & VRBO

Airbnb is also an option, but again, as it is a holiday wedding for the 4th of July I would recommend booking ASAP!
