No attire suggestions, whatever you would wear when hanging out during a July 4th event.
Optional event. Molly & Daniel will be catching the fireworks at Tacoma's Summerblast, specifically at Dune Peninsula, starting around 6pm. This event draws large crowds with live music, food, entertainment, and craft vendors starting at 12 pm, so go early if you would like. Molly & Daniel plan to park near the residential area near Pt. Defiance park and walk to Dune Peninsula to snag an open patch of grass and set up some picnic blankets somewhere in front of the music stage. Feel free to purchase dinner and drinks at the event or bring with you beforehand, as well as bring snacks to share with the group. Consider bringing some warm clothes for when the sun goes down. Check out the website below to learn more, such as the digital program, parking, what to expect, etc. https://www.parkstacoma.gov/event/summerblast/ If interested in attending, reach out to Molly (949-547-4667) or Daniel (253-651-0912) to share awareness and stay connected on the developing plans for July 4th.

Optional event. A small, intimate, local winery tucked amidst an evergreen forest, a nice option to start the wedding day, if you are feeling inclined to get out early to see the Key Peninsula. Lots of shade here, so feel free to grab a glass of wine early or purchase a bottle to have later to hype yourself up before the wedding begins. https://twofoxwinery.com/

Please arrive at the Longbranch Improvement Club no later than 3:15 PM and park your vehicle in the gravel lot. We have arranged for a shuttle bus to bring our guests to the wedding ceremony venue, located on a nearby beach roughly 5 minutes away. At this beach location, we have reserved a shelter that provides shade, but consider bringing sun protection items if needed. Additionally, a bathroom is provided at this location, as well as water and snacks, if needed. The ceremony will last 20 minutes followed by a time for family pictures. Once the wedding ceremony has finished, the shuttle bus will bring our guests back to the Longbranch Improvement Club for the reception festivities.

This venue includes indoor and outdoor spaces. Snacks, dinner, beverages, and dessert will be provided. The entertainment will include various lawn games, discs with a disc golf basket, a small chill forest hike nearby. Feel free to bring other activities you enjoy participating in the company of others, such as board games, tarot cards(you know who you are!), magic tricks, whatever doesn't hurt other guests. Dancing will ensue afterwards, of course!
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Comfortable picnic attire - it's the PNW, so always prepare for the off chance for rain.
Optional. We have reserved the Main Picnic Shelter location at Wapato Park. In order to easily access the shelter, make sure you enter through the East entrance and park in the East parking lot, not to be confused with the South entrance which is a much further distance from the reserved picnic shelter. We plan to provide BBQ-type food, such as hamburgers, hotdogs, wedding leftovers, and sides. Feel free to bring other chill BBQ snacks, meal items, and beverages to share. Music will be playing and chill lawn games will be played. A kid's play area and jungle gym is also nearby.
