Man of Honor
Zack and Molly became friends when they worked together as camp counselors in the summer of 2012. They were such an inseparable duo, their campers all began to presume they were a couple. Unofficially ‘married’ by an arcade game at Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum with their campers, Zack and Molly have remained close friends (much to the kids disappointment) for 10 years since their first days at Clintonwood Park.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie is Molly's cousin, and they've only grown closer through their adult years. Steph and Molly have made many memories together over countless trips to Cedar Point, family vacations and cruises in Florida, and all of the family Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations over the years. Steph is one of Molly's role models and has always been one of Molly's biggest supporters.
Bridesmaid
Katie is Dan's cousin, but she quickly became one of Molly's best friends over the course of Molly and Dan's relationship. Katie and Dan grew up together, and Dan considers her more of a sister than a cousin. To Molly, Katie has been her #1 cheerleader in everything she does. Molly and Dan have made many trips to Milwaukee to visit Katie, and have made many memories together over the years...some of which will stay in Milwaukee.
Bridesmaid
Kayla and Molly were also camp counselors together. It wasn't until college when they lived together in their sorority house years later when they became best friends. Molly made a few trips down to Charleston to visit Kayla when she was in law school, and they always make an effort to get together when they're back home in Clarkston. Even though they don't see each other as often as they would like, when Kayla and Molly get together it's like no time has passed.
Best Man
Tim is Dan's brother and the angry middle child of the Botterman boys. Dan and Tim didn't always get along when they were younger, but age and similar life paths have created a strong bond between the two. When Dan and Molly lived in Chicago they spent a lot of time with Tim bellied up to the bar and eating Michael's pizza. Sporting events, concerts and trips all over the country are just a few of the things the three of them have enjoyed together over the years.
Groomsman
Sean (aka Seen Dawg) is Dan's brother and the youngest of the Botterman boys. Sean became Molly and Dan's roommate in their new home after graduating college and starting his new job in the burbs. Sean has always been the life of the party and has carried Molly and Dan through many trivia nights with his knowledge of obscure topics and facts. Look for him at the wedding...he will be the guy at the bar ordering an Irish car bomb.
Groomsman
Patrick (aka PJ) is Dan's cousin and Katie's younger brother. Patrick has always been more of a brother to Dan than a cousin and the two have spent many nights enjoying a glass of Irish whiskey while reminiscing on their time spent as kids in the streets of Island Lake. Molly and Dan spent a lot of time with Patrick (and Cheyenne) while living a mile or two away from each other in Chicago. They created plenty of memories together at Murphy's bar debating which is better; the North Side or South Side... Go Sox!
Groomsman
Austin is Dan's oldest friend. The two met 22 years ago on the playground of Woodscreek Elementary playing some good old fashioned school yard football. Dan and Austin have spent the years listening to music, watching Youtube videos, and visiting the Route 66 speedway in Joliet to watch NHRA top fuel dragsters shoot down the track. It's been a wild 22 years filled with a lot of shenanigans that are better left unmentioned.
Groomsman
Alex and Dan met 11 years ago after Alex made the right decision in joining the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. Dan and Alex quickly became great friends while living in the fraternity house together. The two made countless memories (some of them a bit fuzzy) staying up late playing NHL Hockey, eating 7 dollar steaks at Marty's Bar and going on walks to no where after studying the affects of alcohol on the human brain. Alex and Dan now live half a country away from each other, but they always make sure to stay in contact over the phone or by playing PGA Tour on Xbox.
