Go Red Foxes! We encourage everyone to take a walk around the beautiful Marist campus, sit by the river, and take in the views of the Hudson

The CIA is right down the road from Marist and has a couple of great cafes/restaurants on its campus
Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park
Take a stroll or jog on the 2nd longest pedestrian footbridge in the world, extending from Poughkeepsie to Highland.
Schatzi's Pub
One of Dan's favorites -- awesome beer selection with two locations - one in Poughkeepsie and one in New Paltz. Both great. Get the Schatzi's burger!
New Paltz
New Paltz has a bunch of great shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Spend some time in town before or after your Lake Minnewaska hike!
Main Course Marketplace
Great spot for fresh salads, baked goods, etc. to stay or to go. We love their carrot-ginger dressing!
Mill House Brewing Company
Great spot for a pre-wedding drink or post wedding brunch on Sunday -- lots of yummy food too.
Half Time
A must for all beer lovers! Stop in and pick up some hotel beers or stock up on your ride home.
