Despite being on the same cruise to Alaska all the way back in 2007, we didn't cross paths until the first day of Band Camp our freshman year at Boston College. Our first real conversation was a heated movie debate on the Newton bus -- and we haven't stopped fighting since! After a year of Marching Band, late night mozzarella sticks, and Netflix marathons, we finally started dating our sophomore year.

When our grand plans for a French vacation were canceled due to COVID travel restrictions, Lisa had no idea that lost alongside them was a picture-perfect proposal. Luckily for us, Dan's second plan was just as romantic. We're still surprised that Lisa was willing to wake up early enough to go see the sun rise over the ocean in Hilton Head Island, SC, but thankfully the proposal, champagne, and boat ride celebration made it worthwhile.
