Dress code: Casual
We would love to say hello and welcome you all to Rio de Janeiro at the popular and historic dance bar - Rio Scenarium. Attire is casual with shoes you can comfortably dance in all night long! (Think: casual dress, jeans, jean shorts, nice top or nice t-shirt for men; no beach or sports clothes, no athletic/running shoes - 'fashion' tennis shoes are fine). Bring cash (reais) for the entrance cover. You'll be given a paper that marks what you ordered and you'll pay for any drinks or food at the counter before exiting (where they accept card). Bring your ID (not passport). Please take a car to/from Rio Scenarium, even if you plan to go out to another bar in Lapa afterwards (still take a car to any other bar(s). Kids cannot come to this event. This event is 18+.
4:00 pm - 11:45 pm
Dress code: Cocktail Chic (Bright, vibrant colors and/or patterns) A mix of fun and formal!
The ceremony will start at 4pm, just before sunset, at Casa de Santa Teresa, a beautiful venue overlooking some of Rio's most amazing vistas. After the ceremony, please join us for the reception where there will be plenty of food, drinks, and dancing to last us until the clock strikes midnight and Dan turns into a pumpkin. The ceremony will be outdoors but the rest of the venue is covered, so in case of less-than-amazing weather, the event will go on without issue! Dress code is "Cocktail Chic" meaning dresses (any length, but mid-length/maxi preferred), dressy jumpsuits, or formal two-piece outfits or pantsuits for women, and a lightweight suit, sports coat/blazer with nice pants, or stylish shirt/pants without a jacket for men. Ties optional. Shoe info: the outdoor area is grass, but all other ground surfaces are solid. Please wear shoes you can wear all night or bring flats with you. We won't be providing sandals or allowing bare feet.
