The Wedding Website of Dan Morton and Lauren Johnson
Starting Friday, 9/22, please text our wedding coordinator, Charley Coldon, with any questions. She can be reached at 314-200-5865. Until Saturday, 9/23, please feel free to text Lauren (314-882-7612) or Dan ( (314-488-7008) with any questions that we may have missed here!
Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We're sorry, but this wedding and celebration is for 18+ only.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception wheelchair-accessible?

Answer

YES! That was one of our first questions. 21c Museum Hotel has an elevator and ramps to allow for all to attend.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

There is, but anyone who has ever parked in St. Louis city knows that parking can be scarce and unpredictable. Our strong recommendation is that all guests (even local guests) use a rideshare option, such as Uber or Lyft. Valet event parking is available for $15/car. Overnight parking is available for $45/night. On Sundays, metered street parking is free.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors on the lower terrace, unless there's inclement (or insanely hot) weather. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors, in the venue's gorgeous gallery rooms.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have reserved a number of rooms, at a discounted rate, at the 21c Museum Hotel, the location of our wedding. Here is a link to our booking site: https://book.passkey.com/event/50656835/owner/50566183/landing Pricing for a King room will begin at $221/night.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We ask that guests wear daytime semi-formal attire, such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men.

Question

What are your colors?

Answer

Please see our color palette above, on the header of this page. Of course, feel free to wear what you like, and what makes you the most comfortable! If you'd like to match the color scheme, navy blue, dusty blue, burgundy, dusty pink, sage, and dark green would all be good options.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Late September is usually a gorgeous time of year in St. Louis. On this date last year, our weather was sunny with a high temp of 79.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes. We will be serving a brunch-style buffet menu with options for all food preferences and restrictions.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

OF COURSE! We are pleased to offer beer, wine, and brunch cocktails.

Question

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?

Answer

We will have a cards and gifts table in the reception gallery. If you would like to send gifts, please address them to Lauren Johnson and Dan Morton, 4100 Forest Park Pkwy, #222, St. Louis, MO 63108.

Question

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Answer

To view our registry, please use the 'Registry' link at the top of the page.

Question

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

Morning refreshments will be offered at 11am. The wedding ceremony will begin at 11:15 am, followed by a cocktail hour from 12-1 pm and then a brunch reception from 1-3:30 pm.

Question

Will there be any other events during this wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! We will also be hosting a welcome party on Saturday evening in the 21c King Suite at the 21c Museum Hotel. The room number is 422.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Yes - at the cocktail hour and reception. We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. It will only be 20 minutes! After the ceremony, we only ask two things - please make sure to allow our photographers and videographer to take their shots unobstructed, and that cell phones are primarily only used for taking photos. Our hope is that our guests will be able to unplug from the virtual world and enjoy this moment with us.

Question

The reception ends at 3:30pm?! What am I supposed to do after?! What should I do on Saturday night?

Answer

You've been day drinking since 11 am. Might we suggest a nap? :) Also - the hotel lounge/bar opens at 3pm and the hot tub (which allows drinks) closes at 10pm. Just sayin'... In the coming days, we will provide a section with our restaurant recommendations and favorite places in the area. If you're staying over on Saturday or Sunday night, we would love to help you take advantage of our lovely and quirky city.

For all the days along the way
