We met on Hinge and chatted for a short while before meeting up for our first date, on 9/21/22. The meeting spot was supposed to have food trucks and vendors, but the food trucks had already left for the day. In what could've turned out to be a dud first date, we just grabbed a couple drinks and sat at a table. Three and a half hours later, we were still there and wrapping up one of the deepest first-date conversations in history.

The ring took over six weeks to arrive. Dan picked it up at 12pm and by 5pm, he had proposed. He just couldn't wait :) We were wrapping up an episode of Ted Lasso, when Dan got on one knee and said, "there's been something that I've been meaning to ask you." It was intimate, completely chill, and perfect.
