Yes! Not only do you need a passport but it must be valid 6 months after your anticipated return home. So just renew your passport if it expires soon.
Bride’s current (premarital) legal name is Catherina Yaretenko. Groom’s name is Daniel Dolinsky.
Refillable water bottle! It is going to be hot and humid so please stay hydrated. Bug Spray, water shoes and sunscreen! Plenty of bathing suits. Resort allows for pool floats, bring your own. Your own snorkel gear because after covid those things probably shouldn't be shared by strangers. A hat so you don't get sunburn on your face and get wrinkles. If you like drinking your refreshing cold drinks with a straw bring a reusable straw! Resorts are becoming more environmentally conscious and do not provide straws.
For our wedding ceremony and reception, we suggest Beach Formal attire. Think cocktail attire with a beachy twist. Please note that some of the restaurants onsite at the resort have certain dress code requirements, so keep this in mind during your stay!
Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels; please tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #Dolinskysthelimit so we can keep track of all of your pictures! We only ask to please turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present during the ceremony with us. We really want to see your faces, not your devices. Feel free to resume photo-taking, Instagramming, Facebooking, etc. at cocktail hour and beyond!
No, Mexican outlets and plugs are usually the same as ours.
The tap water is NOT safe to drink (so please don't, you'll probably get sick). The resort has its own osmosis filtration system. All water served at the resort (at bars and restaurants) is safe. The bars will provide you with bottles as requested (they are also in the mini-bars in the rooms), and the water provided in glasses at restaurants are also bottled. You can also use the bottled water to brush your teeth, etc. if you choose. If you have a sensitive stomach we recommend bringing some charcoal pills, antacids and pepto bismol.
Up to you! The resort is all inclusive. If you plan on exploring outside of the resort, we'd recommend exchanging money in advance to have the best rate. But don't worry you can always use Dollars, Credit Card, or an ATM. Make sure you tell your bank before you leave to avoid any issues. The hotel also offers an ATM and exchange, at higher rates.

Cancun!
Private transfer will be set up at booking through our TA. If you’d like to opt out of the private transfer, you can always take a taxi, however make sure to have pesos - and be aware of the fare in advance. The ride from airport to hotel is about an hour and a half, or two cervezas (beers) and you’re there!
This is up to you! Our travel agent would be more than happy to assist you with your flights but if you feel more comfortable booking directly with the airline that works too.

As of July 2022, you do not need a COVID test/vaccine to travel between the US and Mexico. This means that you will not need to test before either flight. We will update this periodically as the guidance changes, but the latest travel restrictions/requirements can always be found on the CDC website.
