If you're thinking about arriving on the island a few days before the wedding, we've got a great tip for you! San Juan Airport is about a 2.5-hour drive from Añasco. You have a couple of options to make the trip easier: you can either take a quick CapeAir flight to Mayaguez Airport or rent a car and enjoy the scenic drive. If you choose to fly with CapeAir, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate a shuttle to pick you up and take you to the nearest car rental service. Pros: If you haven't been to PR, this is a great way to get to know San Juan and everything it has to offer. Cons: You are 2.5 hours away from the wedding venue
Rental Car
When you arrive on the west coast of Puerto Rico, you'll notice that there are no taxis, Ubers, or public transportation. So, renting a car is a must. We strongly recommend booking your rental as soon as possible, as February is a high season and there are no other options for getting around here.
