There are many different beautiful cenotes to check out throughout the Riviera Maya! Approx. 80 Kms South of Cancun, this would make for a great day trip.
Tulum Ruins of Mexico
Tulum is about a 2 hour drive from Cancun, but would make for a beautiful place to visit! If you do, the Tulum Ruins are a great site to explore!
Chichen Itza Ruins
Approximately 2.5 hours drive from Cancun, Chichen Itza is an archaeological site well known for its Chichen Itza Pyramid or El Castillo - the most astonishing Mayan Ruin or building inside the Archaeological Site.
Cancun Mayan Museum
Museo Maya Cancun and San Miguelito Ruins cover 80 hectares in Hotel Zone. The new museum opened in 2012 with all kinds of cool Mayan archeological relics. You will be able to walk among ruins, see ancient skeletons, jade relics, and artifacts from Chichen Itza and other Mayan sites around the Yucatan peninsula.
Xel-Há: water park in Tulum
Potentially a great stop for after visiting the Tulum Ruins, Xel-Há in Tulum is a natural water park, with unlimited snorkeling, food and drinks!
