Travel Note

Busy Summers in Seattle

Summer is an extremely busy season for Washington state! Major arena events (such as FIFA) will also be taking place this time of year, so hotels will fill up quick! Fortunately, most of our events will take place south of Seattle (~30 min from Seattle proper, and ~30 min from Sea-Tac airport), so we suggest finding accommodations accordingly. We recommend finding accommodations around Auburn, Tukwila, Kent, or Renton.

Flight

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)

Rental cars and public transit (light rail) are accessible directly at the airport.

Rental Car

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

For those coming from out-of-state, you may find it more convenient to rent a car since the venues are a good 30 minutes (without traffic) from the airport! Lyft/Uber can get veeery expensive, very fast. Please let me know if we can assist with coordinating any travel or accommodations!

Train

Seattle Link Light Rail

For those visiting from out-of-state and are hoping to explore Seattle in addition to our wedding, King County has an excellent public transit system (i.e. Link Light Rail) with a line that extends from Federal Way (South), through Seattle proper, all the way up to Lynnwood (North). One-way tickets are $3 and all-day passes are about $6 for adults.
