Flight
LAX will be the easiest and closest airport to fly into for guests needing to travel. The airport is about 30-40 minutes away from Santa Monica, without traffic. You can either rent a car or call an Uber or Lyft easily. We recommend arriving no later than Saturday morning if you are flying into LA.
Hotel

Travel Note
The easiest way to get around is either with a rental car or ride share. While it is fairly easily to call an Uber or Lyft, please factor in additional time for LA traffic. It is not uncommon to have travel times doubled on freeways and local streets because of traffic (the 10 and 405 freeways leading to Santa Monica are especially difficult). If you choose to stay outside of the Santa Monica area (West Hollywood, Venice Beach, etc.), we highly recommend you leave at least one hour for travel time to the ceremony and reception. If you are staying in the Santa Monica area, it is incredibly easy to walk around or call Ubers and Lyfts as needed.
