Answer

We have a wedding email address! Please do not send to our personal emails as we are trying to consolidate wedding information in one location. thecs.planning@gmail.com For day of emergencies, contact the Maid of Honor Ms. Samanatha Pearson on WhatsApp: +1 (540) 878-7828. Do not contact the Bride, as she will not have her phone.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you have been invited, we cherish you so much! As we are keeping our guests to our closest loved ones, if someone is not expressly stated on the save the date, please do not bring them along.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Amazing question! We deliberately chose to have the wedding on a Tuesday to accommodate travel to, around, and from Europe! We propose the following travel schedule: Friday Afternoon/Evening: Fly out to Italy (from the US) and arrive Saturday morning in Milan or surrounding airports. Stay in/near Milan to rest up/ acclimate to time change and explore! Saturday-Sunday: Rest/Refit and explore Verona (home of Romeo and Juliet). Monday: Check into hotel in Desenzano and explore the area! A short drive (or boat ride) away is Sirmione with the archaeological site of Grotte di Catullo and Castello Scaligero di Sirmione. (Sirmione is VERY small and walkable.) Tuesday: Wedding! Wednesday-Friday: Explore Europe! Friday Night: Fly back to the States and have the weekend to get back into the US time zone.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Core World Black Tie! What on Earth is that...? That's it, it's not on Earth! Please see the video in the Gallery tab for a full presentation. Need more inspiration? Here is a link to a pinterest board: https://pin.it/1PvJ9RtUn

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully state that no children are invited to attend our celebrations.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

We are moving from Europe to the US for Captain’s Career Course (Army School) and then who knows! As we will be moving between continents, we ask that you refrain from physical gifts. We don’t want to risk the beautiful and thoughtful items to get lost or damaged in so many moves. If you so choose, please consider contributing to our wedding registry.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As this is a destination wedding, our deadlines are accelerated. Please let us know as soon as you can! Final RSVPs must be in no later than March 6th, 2025.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know of any food allergies!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venues?

Answer

Yes! There will be a chartered boat that leaves from a dock that everyone will gather at. This boat will take everyone to and from the island. After returning from the ceremony, busses will take the guests from the dock to the reception. Busses will then return all guests back after the conclusion of the revelry. By providing transportation, we hope to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the night to it's full extent!

Question

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Before the ceremony begins, we will ask that all personal electronic devices be put away. We have selected stellar professional photography and videography teams to capture the day. So much of our lives are lived on screens, so it is our request that everyone enjoy themselves in the moment. We will publish the full gallery of images to all guests! As we want to capture the images of our loved ones, we would hate to see their faces covered by phones or ipads. Please leave devices for after the nuptials are complete and the reception!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

In Desenzano! Please see the travel tab for more information!

For all the days along the way
