Dana and Justin met on May 16, 2022 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Both were in town for orientation week at Titleist headquarters, where they were working as golf ball fitting interns. They first noticed each other from across the room, introduced themselves, and quickly became friends. Throughout the week, they bonded over shared interests, similar personalities, and a mutual love for golf. At the end of orientation, they returned home: Dana to Los Angeles, California and Justin to Charlotte, North Carolina. They stayed in touch, encouraging each other throughout the summer as they worked in their territories. Towards the end of the summer, Justin mentioned a trip to Los Angeles to visit his cousin and made a point to see Dana while he was there. What started as a simple visit turned into days spent together exploring Southern California. They visited the Getty Villa art museum, went hiking in Griffith Park, kayaked in Seal Beach, and even attended the Kendrick Lamar concert at the Staples Center. They had so much fun together, and both felt a deeper connection towards the end of the week as they watched the sunset on a beach in Oxnard. After Justin returned home to Charlotte, they continued to grow their friendship from a distance and officially began dating that Fall. In October of 2022, Justin moved to Massachusetts to begin his career in marketing with Titleist, while Dana remained in California. Despite demanding work schedules, travel, and projects on both sides, they made it a priority to see each other as often as possible, turning flights into their routine and traveling coast to coast nearly every month. Dana eventually moved to Denver, Colorado in July 2023 to begin her career with Titleist in sales. Even when schedules were busy, the longest they went without seeing each other was about three months. Countless flights, late nights, and early morning red-eyes became part of their routine...all in the name of being together. What followed were three years of long distance, filled with intention, consistency, fun, and a commitment to always show up for one another. On August 2, 2025, Justin proposed to Dana in Denver after almost three years of dating. A few months later, in November 2025, Justin was blessed with a great opportunity furthering his marketing career and was able to move from Boston to Denver...bringing their long-distance chapter to a close and beginning their next chapter together in the same city.
