Zion National Park has hikes and activities for all ages. The most notable hikes in the park are Angel's Landing, Emerald Pools Trail, the Narrows, Zion Canyon Overlook Trail, and the Watchman. For those looking for more casual hikes, I would recommend looking into the Emerald Pools Trail, Northgate Peaks Trail, Pa'rus Trail, or the Riverside Walk (Gateway to the Narrows). These hikes tend to be shorter in length and less physically demanding. Please keep an eye out closer to the wedding for more details on group hikes that will be going out via email. Dana has multiple family members that will be leading a few groups out. You might even catch the bride.
Bryce Canyon is another notable National Park. The park is a short drive from Zion National Park, which features hoodoos and stunning rock formations. The hike is more moderate, but if you have little children, I recommend not going into Bryce Canyon as the hike is on the longer side. However, I promise you, the view is just as great!
Grafton is one of the most photographed ghost towns on the West Coast. The town was established in 1859 by pioneers hoping to grow cotton. The last resident of the town left in 1944.
If you are not an avid hiker, here is your solution. Swing by the Zion Brewery, sit outside, grab yourself a beverage, and appreciate the beautiful red canyons in the background from the comfort of your seat. The restaurant is known for chicken wings, nachos, fish tacos, and buffalo meatloaf.
We highly recommend a stroll down Zion Park Blvd. The main strip of Springdale has art galleries, adorable ice cream parlors, cute mom and pop shops, and wonderful places to grab a meal.
