It all started in December of 2022. Little did Arek and Dana know, but a quick message on a dating app would be the beginning of a beautiful journey together. After an initial FaceTime date that lasted for hours, the pair met for their first "in-person" date at a coffee shop in Franklin, TN. The date was going so well that coffee turned into going to downtown Franklin's Christmas festival, which turned into lunch, which led to archery, which then led to seeing a Christmas light exhibit... which eventually led to Dana having a number of missed calls and texts from her worried roommates saying that they were going to call the cops if they didn't hear from her soon! Suffice it to day, Arek and Dana loved being together from the very beginning. Over time, it became clear to the couple that God had brought them together for a reason, and He had blessed them with the gift of knowing and loving one another. Some of the things Dana loved about Arek from the start were his unmatched silliness, unwavering kindness, support and encouragement through life's challenges, his strength and perseverance, and his love of family. Arek's favorite qualities he noticed about Dana were her gentleness, authenticity, her kind heart, ability to be silly, her love of family and God, and her many quirks (those who know Dana well know exactly what he’s talking about ;)). This past July, Arek proposed to Dana, surprising her at a vineyard where she thought they were supposed to be spending time with his brother and sister-in-law. With a beautiful backdrop, Arek got down on one knee and asked Dana to be his wife. Once she said yes (more like, "Are you kidding me? Oh my gosh, what? Wait, are you kidding? Oh my gosh. Yes, of course!"), Arek had both of their families come out to surprise her and celebrate their engagement with them. Now, the two couldn't be more grateful and excited to enter into the Sacrament of Marriage this May, surrounded by you, their beloved family and friends. Arek and Dana can't wait to share their special day with you all, and would love your prayers as they prepare to become husband and wife.
