You know you're close when you arrive at the historic West Cornwall covered bridge that takes motorists and bicyclists across the Housatonic River to Lower River Road. A great option for those traveling to West Cornwall from NYC. Take the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line from Grand Central Terminal in New York City to the Wassaic Station. The Wassaic train station is about 16 miles (a 30 minute drive) from Trinity Retreat Center. Taxi from station to retreat center: There are several taxi companies as well as Uber service. Taxi fare is approximately $40 from Wassaic to West Cornwall. Taxis are usually lined up and waiting with each train arrival.
