Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Liza Elkin and Dan Hoffman
There are endless activities to do in the Seattle area - especially in the summer! A few recommendations from us below!

Discovery Park

Seattle, WA 98199

For a nature walk/hike in the city that feels like you're in the woods, look no further than this 534 acre park. Bonus: there are beaches. :)

Golden Gardens Park

8498 Seaview Place Northwest, Seattle, WA 98117

Bring a picnic and a blanket for a true sandy beach day at Golden Gardens.

Delancey

1415 Northwest 70th Street, Seattle, WA 98117

There are plenty of delicious restaurants in Seattle, but if you wanted to check out where we went on our first date, head to Delancey. Needless to say, it's a winner. Great pizza, and don't skip the burrata.

Pike Place Market

Seattle, WA

An iconic spot for a reason. Tons of shops, restaurants, and breweries surrounding it as well.

Agua Verde Paddle Club

1307 Northeast Boat Street, Seattle, WA 98105

You can rent kayaks and paddle boards on Lake Union by the hour - you'll be able to paddle right by the wedding venue! Agua Verde Cafe is right next door and serves great margaritas and Mexican food, too.

Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge Island, WA

Walk onto the ferry right from downtown and be on Bainbridge in 15 minutes. Tons of shopping and restaurants and a feel for the PNW island lifestyle.

Ballard Avenue

Ballard Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107

Historic and charming and lined with shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, it's a fun way to spend the day. A huge Farmer's Market on Sunday mornings as well!

Green Lake

Seattle, WA

A walking/biking/running path circles the lake totaling ~2.5 miles around. A lovely place to go for a nice long walk with a friend and a coffee. Prepare to see tons of dogs. You can also rent kayaks and paddle poards to take out on Green Lake.
