The Pfister Hotel

The Pfister has been a Milwaukee hotel icon for well over a century. The lobby bar is a favorite of the Shanley's during the holidays. 5 minute walk to the Cathedral and 12 minute walk to Discovery World. We have a block of rooms reserved for $155 per night. Flight

Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee (MKE)

Milwaukee's airport is located 10 miles south of the city. United is running direct flights from SFO to MKE during the summer. Uber picks up right outside of baggage claim and is the best way to get from airport to your hotel. On your way home, if you get to the airport early, before going through security make sure to pour yourself one final Miller Lite.

Flight

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

We recommend flying in to Milwaukee but if you would like to spend some time in Chicago or fly non-stop O'hare is a good alternative. The airport is 80 miles south of Milwaukee, the best ways to get up to Wisconsin is by either renting a car or taking the Coach USA bus that picks up and drops off from O'hare.

Train

Amtrak Hiawatha

If you would like to start or end your trip in Chicago we recommend taking the Hiawatha between cities. 14 trains daily (Monday - Saturday) between Chicago and Milwaukee and 12 on Sunday. In a quick 90-minute trip, you can be in the center of either city.
