Milwaukee Art Museum
Located on Milwaukee's lake front and next to the reception venue. The museum houses nearly 25,000 works of art housed on four floors, with works from antiquity to the present. The museum holds one of the largest collections of works by Wisconsin native Georgia O'Keeffe.
Milwaukee Public Market
A public market located in the Historic Third Ward neighborhood, great place to grab lunch from local businesses. For those traveling from the Pacific Northwest, it may look familiar as the market's founders drew inspiration for the development from the Pike Place Market.
Colectivo Coffee Lakefront
While Milwaukee is known for its beer this spot is known for it's coffee. Pick up a cup of the house coffee and walk a long the beach of Lake Michigan.
Kopp's Frozen Custard
Ask Dan... A trip to Milwaukee isn't complete until Dan has been here twice in one day. Erin's favorite is the chocolate malt, Dan usually double fists with the flavor of the day and an extra thick chocolate malt. While it requires a drive to the suburbs, it won't let you down.
Whistling Straits Golf Course
Home to the 2020 Ryder Cup, for those with a passion for golf and an extra day in Wisconsin is worth the hour drive north to check out this golf haven. If you are too intimidated to play this challenging course it is a favorite lunch spot of Erin and Dan with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan.
Blackwolf Run Golf Course
One of Pete Dye's best designed tracks, comes in a close second to Whistling Straits. Erin and Dan have been known to slice it in to the surrounding river but come take your best hack.
Lakefront Brewery
Milwaukee's own Lakefront Brewery Inc. started in 1987. The industrious and inventive craft brewery located on the Milwaukee River has become a Milwaukee landmark. Taking the brewery tour is a must when visiting Milwaukee.
Pabst Milwaukee Brewery & Taproom
One of the three founding brewing families in Milwaukee the Pabst brewery which closed in 1997 has been reopened and revitalized. Stop by for the freshest PBR you have ever had.
