We met on an astrophysics field trip to Mount Wilson Observatory in 2015 at UCLA. After 10 months of pretending to not have feelings for one another, we decided to give dating a go on 11.16.2015.

When we moved to Tucson to begin graduate school at the University of Arizona, we decided that we wanted to adopt an older shelter dog named Jefferson. We came home with two 2-month old puppies.

Dan proposed at Himmel Park after faking a kickball injury to lure Kira there. Unfortunately, she knew something was up when the car keys were exactly where they were supposed to be in her time of need

In February of 2021 in the presence of just a few family and friends we made our marriage official! Thank you to everyone who was able to celebrate us over zoom

This is the day we will have been waiting almost 2.5 years for! We can't wait to hug, dance, laugh and toast with you at our reception + 1 year anniversary celebration
