Alex shares life with his best friend, Milo (who has four legs, lots of fur, and thinks he’s in charge). He enjoys cooking, grilling, and experimenting with new recipes—while Milo happily serves as the official taste tester.

Lynelle has been Chris’s close friend ever since they became next-door neighbors in 2004. Over the years, they’ve shared countless glasses of wine over the fence, and laughed and cried their way through raising kids, getting older, rescuing animals, chasing off raccoons, and countless other adventures—and yes, more wine. Their friendship is equal parts heart, humor, and a perfectly poured glass.

Tammy and Chris first met as colleagues and quickly discovered that raising boys was not quite as easy as the brochure made it sound. They bonded over the shared adventures of parenting teens, wrestling with math homework, surviving comical work situations, and meeting impossible deadlines. And as for certain office Christmas party stories—well, those are best shared over a beer.

Mike and Dan first met—shockingly—over motorcycles. As members of the same riding group, they quickly bonded over their Michigan roots and a shared love of pool, beer, and (of course) more motorcycles. They share a brand of humor that keeps them laughing at their own jokes and provides endless comic relief for everyone lucky enough to be around them.

Chris is married to Dan’s cousin, Kellie—and fun fact—Dan was the one who introduced them! He and Dan first met over 30 years ago through their mutual church group in Atlanta, and their friendship has remained strong ever since. Now, as our wedding officiant, Chris brings his deep faith and strong Christian roots as we begin our new life together. Chris and Kellie have four children and make their home in Seattle.
