Like many modern romances, ours began online—in a Facebook group. Dan was persistent (to say the least), asking Chris out three different times. Each invite came with a casual suggestion: a trip to the dog park with our two doodles, maybe grabbing a pizza… but it wasn’t until he suggested tacos downtown that Chris finally said yes. 🌮 That first date ended with Dan calling Chris the moment she got home—not just to ask for a second date, but a third, too. He managed to fill her entire weekend before she could even catch her breath. The “third date” was supposed to be just lunch, but it turned into a seven‑hour adventure across state lines on Dan’s Harley. By the end of that ride, we both knew this was heading in the right direction. 🏍️ Since then, we’ve shared countless miles together, exploring backroads on the Harley and discovering new places. We’ve also embraced a lifestyle of trading home stays with fellow travelers in exchange for pet sitting—a perfect fit for us and our four‑legged family. It’s a win‑win that lets us see more of this beautiful country while giving others peace of mind for their pets. We can’t wait to continue the journey—side by side, building funny pet stories along the way, tacos on the table, and endless adventures ahead. Together. ❤️
