How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

Two of the wedding hotels (Intercontinental and Canopy) are at The Wharf and we'll be staying there.  This is a fun waterfront area in DC with lots to see and do.

The Wharf DC

Afro-Caribbean inspired restaurant at The Wharf.  We had one of our favorite early dinner dates at Kith/Kin and also celebrated our engagement there!

Kith/Kin

The wedding venue is located in Navy Yard, just opposite The Wharf, another cool waterfront area in DC with lots to see and do.  One of the wedding hotels (Residence Inn) is located here as well.

The Yards DC

There aren't many places in the world that you can see pandas, but DC's zoo is one of them (and like all Smithsonian sites, it's free!).

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

A must see if you have time while in DC.  Admission is free, but be sure to visit the website to get information about passes for weekend days.

National Museum of African American History and Culture

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

A staple in the U Street neighborhood.  There's live music at JoJo's almost daily.

Ivy City neighborhood restaurant with a great rooftop patio.
