Like so many people our age, we met online through a dating app. A few pleasant conversations between our vastly different schedules and we carved out time to plan a date in person. Over coffee, we kept it simple at first, but eventually taking a nosedive into deeper subjects, bonding over truly unexpected similarities. On our third date, I (Damion) took a bold chance on our first kiss. My gamble turned into a jackpot, as 6 years later, here we are going to be married. Through trials and tribulations, we have lasted until now, where we can say that our dream came true, each of us finding a match that could never be replaced by another. Our running joke of being made in a lab for each other is almost a little too accurate, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
