Matt and Damien met each other at their first year of university in 2008. The weird thing was that they both grew up in the same small country town, their parents knew each other and they already had quite an extended group of people who they both knew separately! Since meeting, Damien and Matt have developed what could be described as nothing other than a "bromance" that is founded on their love of sport, connecting with people and most importantly having fun!

Nicole Schneider

Nicole and Catriona met in 2011, whilst living in a hippy house one summer as they both finished up their Masters degrees. They bonded through deep conversation each evening as Nicole studied in the kitchen and Catriona cooked dinner. Nicole may have moved back to Wisconsin, but this has never weakened the friendship. They have traveled all over together, through Europe, down the California Coast and across the southern United States, creating a lifetime of memories.

Ben and Damien met over a decade ago while Ben was on a semester abroad in Australia and they both stayed at the same student accommodation with Damien being Ben's R.A. While in North America this may mean Damien was predisposed to be strict on following the rules, being an R.A in Australia basically meant he planned all the parties. Since Damien has moved to and made his life in Vancouver, their friendship has gone from strength to strength.

Dani and Catriona first met in the 8th grade, when Dani came to York House School. Running in different crowds (Dani was a jock, I think we all know Catriona was not), they reunited at their high school 10 year reunion and have developed a friendship that has stood the test of time. They have stood by each other through life's many trials and tribulations, as well as celebrating many milestones.

Mike and Damien have known each other for over a decade and have even lived together on their journey of friendship. They have been through a lot of great times together and Damien had the honour of being able to stand up with Mike when he got married to Katie back in 2018.

Fran and Catriona's path's crossed fortuitously several times in their Mount Pleasant neighbourhood before they decided to trust the universe and become friends. That bond has only grown stronger over the years. They share a love of the outdoors, backpacking, running, surfing, Puerto Escondido, Halloween and epic Scrabble battles.

Louise is Catriona's adorable 6 going 7 year old niece. Full of curly hair and spice. She loves puppies and spotting crow's nests for sport. She is excited to make her flower girl debut Catriona and Damien's wedding!
