Nicole and Damian met at Lanier Raceplex the weekend of September 19th, 2021. It was a very brief encounter, hi’s and bye’s. Damian couldn’t get Nicole out of his head. Over the next couple of weeks he saw her on Facebook Dating and swiped right. To his surprise, Nicole also swiped right. That night they talked on FaceTime for 4 hours. He knew he wanted to be with her after that initial phone call, but Nicole was not so sure as there had been a lot of heartbreak in the past. Eventually Nicole invited Damian out with her friends on October 21st. They remained friends until December 12th when Damian asked Nicole to accompany him to his company Christmas Party. She said “Yes, it’s a date”. This was the first date of many. Nicole bought a house in August of 2022 and asked Damian to move in with her. August 1st of 2024 Damian proposed at home on the back deck with a hundred sunflowers and a gorgeous engagement ring. How could she say no? Nicole had always mentioned “I don’t care how you propose. You could do it on the back porch and I’d still say yes”. To which he did. It’s never too late to start over. It’s never too late to find your person. It took both of us many failed relationships and each a failed marriage to realize what we needed and wanted in a relationship. We have found the one our soul loves.
