We met in 2009, freshman year at the University of Florida. Randolph approached & pursued Kaylia and spoke for over a year. However, she wasn’t looking for anything serious but Randolph was. They went their separate ways until they had a class together a few semesters later. They remained friends and kept in contact until right after graduation when Randolph went back home to Miami & Kaylia stayed in Gainesville,FL. They always stayed in contact but really reconnected a few years later. The attraction and chemistry was still there. When she was working for an aerospace company at the time, she was always traveling for work at the time & was living in Singapore. I flew more than 15 hours to see her and hang out with her for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, they lost touch (again) until January 2023 when Randolph posted a picture on IG and she sent him a DM. The circumstances were finally perfect and they spoke every single day and have been together ever since. One evening in Miami, Randolph took Kaylia out to dinner for their first official date in February 2023 and asked her to be his girlfriend. After a little over one year of countless flights between Miami and Los Angeles (she lived in San Bernardino at the time), they moved to Houston in 2024. They officially got engaged in July 2025.
