Where is the wedding?

Answer

The venue is a few minutes out of Bloomsburg PA at the PumpHouse Bed&breakfast. The ceremony will be outside in the woods over looking a creek and cocktail hour will be outdoors as well. The reception will be in a barn on the same property.

Can I bing kids?

Answer

Children are welcome and there is also a mini park on property they can play in. Keep in mind this is NOT a dry wedding and we will be in a secluded area in the woods.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to Covid restrictions +ones are limited. On your invitation everyone’s name who has been preapproved are on the back of your RSVP card. If you need to bring someone who is not on the back of your card contact Carlos or Marii for further assistance.

What should I wear?

Answer

Keep in mind the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and in the woods you may want to be mindful of the kind of shoes you wear. It will be July so don't wear anything too long or thick. The event is semi-formal but more on the dressy-casual side. We just ask that you DO NOT wear jeans, logo tee shirts, sweats, cargos, sneakers and baseball caps and please DO NOT wear the colors white, and sage green.

Since it's outdoors what is the bathroom situation?

There are actual bathrooms in the venue you just have to go inside. No porta potties.

How far from New York is the venue?

Answer

Average time from most boroughs is about 3 hours by car. You must drive or hitch a ride with other guest because it is not accessible by public transportation.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes there is parking on grounds the owners will be assisting in guiding guests on parking.

What if I can't get a ride?

Answer

Nearest greyhound bus stop is Bloomsburg PA which is about 20 minutes away you can either Uber from there or ask for someone to pick you up. The mother of the bride will be coordinating a car pool for those who would like to participate. Please DO NOT call Bride or Groom about rides and location.

Can I stay on property?

Answer

Unfortunately there are limited rooms and are reserved for select individuals. But if you click on the book a room tab there are options for near by places that are available including airbnb.

What time does the wedding start and how long is it?

Answer

The ceremony is said to start at 2pm and should be ending around 3pm. Cocktail hour is from 3pm-5pm to give time to explore the grounds and mingle with other guests. The reception starts at 5pm and will end at 10pm.

What activities are there to do during cocktail hour?

Answer

You can drink, eat and mingle with other guest, walk around the grounds, sit by the fire pit, ride in the canoes, or just put your feet in the creek, there will also be games to play with some music in the background.

Is this a dry wedding?

Answer

NO! There will be dinks such as beers, wine coolers, and mini bottled Champagnes during cocktail hour. The bar will open for reception continuing with beers and adding signature cocktails and a limited variety of drinks. It will be OPEN BAR. But please bring cash to tip bartender.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We ask that everyone please refrain from taking pictures and recording and that phones please be put on silent during the ceremony. During the cocktail hour and reception feel free to take all the photos and videos you like. Be sure to hashtag #atclubmarlos when posting on Instagram.

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

No, we do not have one but we will accept monetary gifts or contribution to our honeymoon if you are so inclined.
