Are kids invited?

Unfortunately, no. We want our wedding to be your night off as well! All wedding events are 18 and over.

Is a COVID vaccine required?

Answer

No, vaccination is not required. But we are being asked to track vaccine status by City Winery. And those who are vaccinated may be able to go maskless at certain parts of the wedding event. There will be a wellness check at the entry of the venue. Vaccinated individuals will be asked to show proof of their vaccination either with their vaccine card or photos of the front and back of the vaccine card on their phone.

Will masks be required at all wedding events?

Answer

Chicago-area COVID restrictions will be followed at all wedding events. Mask guidelines have been in flux and there is a possibility that vaccinated individuals who show proof of their vaccination upon entry will be able to go maskless during some parts of the event. Those who are not vaccinated will be required to wear a mask during the ceremony and reception, but will be able to take the mask off when seated at the reception table for eating or drinking.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only if your invitation says “and Guest,” otherwise there will be plenty of fun people to mix and mingle with!

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE SERVICE?

Answer

No. City Winery is a 4 min walk from the Hyatt House Chicago / West Loop-Fulton Market. If you wish to stay anywhere else, we suggest you use Uber or Lyft for transportation to and from City Winery. There will also be valet available at City Winery for $12.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
