FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Formal Attire (& wedding merch ofc)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a cash registry on this site. We are so grateful for our home and all of its furnishings. What we would love is help paying for our honeymoon! You can also buy some merch if you want to support us and look great doing so.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited parking at the Lodge and at the Hilton. The Lodge is valet only which can get expensive. If you are not staying on site (at the Hilton or at The Lodge at Torrey Pines) we highly recommend you uber or Lyft if you are not staying at the Hilton Torrey Pines or The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Plus the bar is open Friday night and Saturday night (for 7 hours!), who wants to drive anyway?!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the Lodge at Torrey Pines by 3:30pm on Saturday. The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15th, 2026.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

If I’m traveling in, should I rent a car?

Answer

Up to you, parking is hard to find in La Jolla/Torrey Pines and we recommend you Lyft/uber to and from the venue. So up to you if you want a car for the remainder of the weekend. šŸš™

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and dinner are outdoors. The reception will be indoors. If it rains, all will be indoors! But anticipate 72-80 degrees and sunny type weather (we hope!)

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It should be sunny and moderately warm, probably low 70s Fahrenheit. It can get cold at night so bring a jacket if you are a cold person. Not like personality but if you get cold easily. 🄶

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are planning on having a welcome event at 8:00 pm on Friday, October 9th at the Hilton. Also, will be a pool party on Sunday, October 11th at The Lodge at Torrey Pines.

Question

What are all the different events?

Answer

Friday night - at the Hilton Torrey Pines pool area, we will be hosting a welcome party from 8-10pm. This is a casual gathering to enjoy night-before beverages, eat some dessert, and mingle. Dinner will not be provided, only alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and desserts. The bar will be open thanks to Sharon (and Bob) Dahm. Saturday - our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will occur on the Arroyo Terrace at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Please arrive by 3:30pm for the 4pm ceremony. Dinner, drinks, dancing, dessert, Dahm, Dalton. All the Ds will be there. The bar is open thanks to Jennifer Ball and Mike Varney! Sunday - from 11-2, we will be at the Lodge at Torrey Pines pool area hosting a final gathering - a pool party! Light bites will be provided. No booze from us, sorry - we hope we will have tired you out by now.
