Floyd Country Store
If you get into town before Friday evening, we highly recommend checking out the Floyd Country Store for their Friday Night Jamboree! From their website: "The Floyd Country Store has become a traditional gathering place on Friday nights for musicians, dancers, and visitors from all over the world. At the Jamboree, we’re all very proud of and grateful to the musicians who bring their instruments and their talent to the store every week. The show starts every Friday at 6:30 pm and they will play till we close around 10:30pm. The Jamboree is a kind of happening that is hard to find anymore – musicians coming together to play just for the love of the music, and people getting together just for the fun of it. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget. Please take note that seating is limited and in the fall months the store gets very crowded. In good weather, there is plenty of room outside to enjoy the music, If a seat is important to you please come early. Tickets go on sale at 4:45pm."
Floyd Farmers Market
On Saturday morning, feel free to check out the Floyd Farmers Market! It is open from 9am to 1pm. Several of Katrina's favorite vendors from the Blacksburg Farmers market are also at the Floyd market so you can be sure to find something to love! We highly recommend Big Indian Farm for their incredible sourdough pastries!
