When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 30th to ensure we can provide final headcounts to our vendors. Unfortunately if you do not RSVP by August 30th, we will assume you are unable to make it and we will look forward to celebrating with you at another point.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to venue restrictions and budget limitations, we are only able to invite children from our close family. We appreciate your understanding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We plan to have a variety of menu options that accommodate various food restrictions. Please indicate any food restrictions on your RSVP so we can ensure we have the appropriate amount of food!

What should I wear?

Answer

The short answer is to wear what you're comfortable in. The long answer is that the dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. That generally means cocktail dresses, evening dresses, sundresses, jumpsuits, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, and sports coats (ties or no ties) are all perfect for our wedding. You'll likely feel underdressed in jeans and t-shirts, and overdressed in a full tuxedo. If in doubt, don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask. Please note that, weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outdoors on grass. We recommend comfortable shoes!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! The Eighty-Four has a large parking area with parking attendants to help direct you. The venue does not allow for overnight parking though so please make plans to responsibly drive home after the event.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor use with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 416 Kevinmeade Drive, Midlothian, VA 23114. Please note that this address is different from the return address listed on our invitations as we recently purchased our first home! A wedding card box and gift table will be at our reception if you prefer to bring it in person.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The seating area will open at 4pm for a prompt 4:30pm ceremony start time. Please arrive early to have time to find your seat!
