On our first camping trip as a couple, we saw this beautiful waterfall from the forest service road and decided to stop on the way to our camp site. It is about 12km up the logging road which is a gravel road, so be mindful of your vehicle as it can get quite dusty, but in our opinion it's 100% worth it! We pulled over, hopped out of the car and began to climb up the rocks and through the stream to the base of the falls. When we got there, we were greeted with a beautiful private swimming area that was not visible from the road. We both say that stopping and swimming at these falls was the highlight of that camping trip!
The lodge we're staying at has a private beach and dock, the perfect area for a summer beach day! Bring your swimsuits, towels and a beach chair! If you've got kayaks or paddle boards, feel free to bring those along as well.
I think the name speaks for itself... if golf is your jam, they've got that covered!
Family friendly little 1km hike/walk around the forest. Hint: keep an eye out for faces you may see in the trees!
