Thanks for joining us on our special day!

As much as we would love to have met in a romantic by chance encounter (i.e. in person), we met through the power of data centers and algorithms (i.e. Hinge). Our "Date Zero" was at a very busy Tatte cafe in Bethesda. After confirming that we were both, in fact, real people, we surprised ourselves when we hit it off instantly with our similar sense of humor, passion for travel, shared values, and mutual interests in each of our cultures. The rest was history - on March 25, 2023, after three weeks of even better dates, we began our adventure as life partners. After nearly three years of adventures, laughs, and of course, great food we became engaged on Christmas Day 2025. Being the minimalist that I am, I kept it simple by proposing to Dalin in our living room on her favorite holiday of the year. I handed her a small box, but with the caveat of first showing her a video comprising of a slideshow of all of our adventures, ending with a message asking her to marry me. I'm not entirely sure what I said in the moment but definitely remember her enthusiastic "yes!" when I showed her the ring. While our travels and adventures have taken us near and far, the DMV (Washington DC area for non-locals) has been the backdrop of our love story. We are excited to include our family and friends as part of our story by joining us for our big day!
