Dane County Farmers' Market
The Saturday Market is a must-do in the summer! Taking up the whole central square downtown, the farmers market every week has local food, flower, and craft vendors. Definitely worth going for the cheese curds alone! If you're not a fan of crowds, arriving at 8am is usually safe.
Octopi/Untitled Art Brewing
A bit of a schlep, but some of the best beer in town, and snacks!
National Mustard Museum
Let's face it, we had to put at least ONE museum on the list. It's the mustard museum. It also has tastings!
State Street
A great place to just walk up and down!
Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center
Great view of the lake, and an awesome place to hang out if the weather is nice!

We know it sounds crazy that we're suggesting you go to our workplace, but it's an absolutely WILD place to walk around and explore (assuming you've never worked there.) If you want to take a look you can schedule a tour!
