What are the requirements to travel?

Answer

You must have a negative PCR test with a QR code. A negative PCR without a QR code is not enought and you will not be able to get on your flight without it. You can obtain your QR code on v-safe.com. Do NOT forget to print the handout before you arrive to the airport.

What is the preferred method of payment in Egypt?

Answer

Egyptian's really heavily on cash so we recommend carrying cash around but not in big quantities. You can exchange currency at the airport, hotel, or currency exchange shops.

How can I get around in Cairo?

Answer

You can Uber around in Cairo and several cities in Egypt. This is the safest and our recommended transportation method. The preferred method of payment is cash, although card payment is available. Additionally, Egypt’s streets are serviced by a fleet of Taxis with running meters, so just wave, climb aboard, and you’ll be on your way.

July is scorching hot in Cairo and extremely busy. The average temperature now reaches a high of 35°C (that's about 95°F) during the day and never dips any lower than 23°C (about 74°F)
