Train
While traveling by car is quickest, guests can travel from the Munich airport to Ehrwald or Lermoos, Austria by train. Bus transportation is available between the villages of Ehrwald, Lermoos, and Biberwier. For guests using public transportation, we recommend staying at hotels or Airbnbs in Biberwier as they are within walking distance of the Rochuskapelle (chapel).
Travel Note
Tirol and the surrounding areas are very touristy in the summer, so we recommend securing lodging early. The villages of Biberwier, Ehrwald, and Lermoos are all very close together and great options if you want to stay close to the ceremony and reception venues. Garmisch-Partenkirchen, on the German side of the border, is a little bit larger and also a beautiful place to stay.

For guests using public transportation, we recommend staying here or at other hotels or Airbnbs in Biberwier as they are within walking distance of the Rochuskapelle, where the ceremony will be located. However, booking through the website may be cheaper, especially for non-refundable rooms, so please check it first.
