Neuschwanstein Castle

20 Neuschwansteinstraße, Schwangau, BY 87645, Germany

This is the most popular tourist attraction in the area. Castle lovers can also visit nearby Hohenschwangau Castle, the childhood home King Ludwig II who built Castle Neuschwanstein. Booking tickets in advance is recommend as tours sell out. After, walk up to the Marienbrücke (Mary's Bridge) for an amazing view of Castle Neuschwanstein from above a gorge, or, if you're not feeling an incline, stroll around the nearby Alpsee (lake).

Innsbruck, Austria

Check out Lillian's old stomping grounds! Don't miss the old town, golden roof, and Alpenzoo (zoo). At the Innbrücke bridge you will find a quintessential view of town. Heading up Hafelekar peak via the Nordkettebahn (cable car) and visiting Seegrube restaurant is also fun. Austria has a strong coffee house culture, so if you need a pick-me-up, check out one of the many traditional cafes around town such as Café Central. Strudel-Café Kröll is also worth a stop.
