What should I wear to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Jacket & Tie attire. This means that it is acceptable for men to wear a sports jacket, suit jacket or smart blazer. Women should wear a cocktail dress, dressy separates or pantsuit. Dresses do not have to be floor length.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in Macon, GA in April averages high 70s low 80s during the day and mid 50s at night. The weather tends to be about 10 degrees warmer than in Atlanta, GA.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors. The reception will take place at a different venue and be indoor/outdoor with garden seating outside.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding party and immediate family will have pictures taken. Guests may proceed to the reception for cocktail hour prior to arrival of Bride and Groom.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is extensive parking avaliable in the church. There is street parking. Across the street from the reception venue is a parking lot that will be privately rented for the wedding, feel free to park here. Please drink responsibly. Hotel locations are close enough by to walk or uber.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Along with cocktail hour prior to the reception there will be dinner served. Bar will be available. Tips are encouraged. Please drink responsibly!

What is the closest airport?

Answer

Hartsfield Jackson International Airport is the closest airport with international flights. Macon. Ga is approximately 90 miles south of Atlanta and is about an 1.5hr drive to downtown.

Can I take and post pictures on social media of the wedding?

Answer

We would like our wedding ceremony to be unplugged to enable our photographer to capture these special moments. However, we encourage guests to post pictures at the reception to their social media channels and tag us. #TurningTwynham

Will there be a guestbook?

Answer

Yes! Please make every effort to enjoy our photo guestbook station and drop us a note so we can remember all those who shared in this day with us. Don't miss this unique event at our reception!
