FAQs

The Wedding Website of Allison Smiley and Dale Greenwald
Here are some answers to common questions for our wedding.
Question

What time does the wedding begin?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 10th. We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before the ceremony begins.

Question

What should I expect for the weather?

Answer

October mornings in Colorado can be crisp and cool, especially earlier in the day. Temperatures are typically in the 40s to low 60s during the morning and early afternoon, with sunshine warming things up as the day goes on.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage guests to dress in fall wedding attire that is both elegant and comfortable for the season. Since the ceremony will take place during a cool Colorado morning, we recommend bringing a light coat, shawl, or wrap.

Question

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes — our ceremony will be outdoors so guests can enjoy the beautiful fall scenery and crisp autumn air. The reception and brunch celebration afterward will be indoors.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to wear cocktail or elevated daytime formal attire in seasonal fall colors and fabrics.

Question

Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Yes! Following the ceremony, guests will enjoy a cozy brunch reception with hearty seasonal food, coffee, cocktails, and celebratory drinks.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free parking available at the venue.

Question

What time will the celebration end?

Answer

Our formal wedding celebration will conclude around 2pm in the afternoon, with an optional after-party gathering afterward for anyone who would like to continue celebrating with us.

Question

What if I’m traveling from out of town?

Answer

October is one of the most beautiful times of year in Colorado, but weather can shift quickly. We recommend checking the forecast before traveling and packing layers for cool mornings and warmer afternoons.
