Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our family & friends dress up with us to your comfort level! We are requesting cocktail to formal attire for our wedding. Beginning of June the average temperature in Charleston is mid 80's during the day and mid 70's after sunset. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside and reception inside with the option to walk outside under the stars and sit by the campfire. Additionally, please keep in mind that the venue primarily has grass and gravel terrain.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have blocked off rooms for guests at the Hyatt at a discounted rate. There will be transportation to and from the ceremony and walking distance to our welcome party on Friday June 6, 2025 and after party on Saturday June 7, 2025. Please visit the travel page for more information.

What are the food options for the wedding?

Answer

We will be having southern hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour followed by four small plate stations for dinner. Guests will be able to try as many different food options as they would like. Options are: *Petit beef filet with fingerling potatoes and green beans *Chicken marsala and parmesan risotto *Butternut squash ravioli * Salmon with basmati rice and asparagus

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, your invitation will allow for you to let us know what foods you can or can not have. We will be having small plate stations at the reception with four different food options but our caterer can accommodate for special requests if needed.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor. Your invitation will be made out to "{your name} & {guest name}" if a plus one has been given to you. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love children at our wedding! Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} family" if your children have been invited. There will be activities and a babysitter for children so you can enjoy your night as well.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be parking at the ceremony and reception, however we will be providing transportation to and from the Hyatt. You can leave your vehicle at the wedding venue until 9am the next morning. We will have an open bar all night so our venue would like guests ubering or taking our provided transportation back to downtown Charleston to either the hotel or after party.
